Porzingis returns from injury, drops 20 points

The Dallas Mavericks lost Game 5 of the NBA Finals to the Boston Celtics 107-89 on Tuesday night at American Airlines Arena in Dallas, TX.

The Mavericks were led by Kristaps Porzingis, who returned from a calf injury to score 20 points. Luka Doncic added 19 points and 10 rebounds, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Celtics' balanced attack.

The Celtics were led by Jayson Tatum, who scored 24 points. Jaylen Brown added 21 points and Marcus Smart added 18 points.

The Mavericks shot just 3-of-11 from three-point range and were outrebounded by the Celtics 50-34.

The Celtics now lead the series 3-2. Game 6 will be played in Boston on Thursday night.
